Gingerbread houses
It is integral part of the English Language Teaching to talk about Christmas customs in Great Britain and in our country the days before Christmas and make cards and handicrafts. This year we decided to make gingerbread houses during the afternoon session of our school.
The students and the teachers worked well together and despite some disputes for the beating of the eggs and some stains of glaze on our clothes the result was beautiful! Both the students and the teachers enjoyed the procedure and some of them acquired new skills in pastry making! We will definetely use the kitchen for more non formal education in the future!
